Focus from John Elgee

It is my privilege to introduce our latest Newsletter. This edition, includes an article by Jenny Gracie of the Family Law Partnership in Leatherhead on Collaborative Practice. As my firm is a specialist practice, we have forged close links with a number of other specialist firms who provide legal services not offered by Elgee Pinks. Jenny and her partner Anne Trier specialise in Matrimonial law, and I hope that you will find her article and those of my colleagues and me of interest. John Elgee
We have now passed our second anniversary, with the practice continuing to grow. We have recently appointed Emma Veasey as a Conveyancing Assistant in the Property Department to assist Marion Marchant, Tim McHugo and me. Emma was previously a much valued former Legal Secretary.

On a wider front, many of you will be aware that Sir David Clementi delivered his verdict on the reform of legal services in December, and details of these appear elsewhere in this newsletter. At Elgee Pinks we will be watching carefully what action the Government decides to take following the Clementi report and we will report further on this subject.
